If you’re a young adult in the Diocese of Allentown, we want to hear from you.
The Diocese is hosting a series of listening sessions for young adults, ages 18 to 35. In the spirit of encounter and accompaniment, these conversations will be opportunities for young adults to share their joys, challenges and hopes for their lives in the Church, and the Church in their lives.
“Community and Conversation: Young Adult Listening Sessions” will be at two locations across the Diocese in March:
St. Anne Church, Bethlehem – Saturday, March 6 at noon in the convent, lunch will be provided.
St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville – Saturday, March 20 at 5:45 p.m. (immediately after 5 p.m. Mass), in the meeting room, refreshments will be served.
Maggie Riggins, director of young adult and campus evangelization, is interested in meeting young adults from throughout the Diocese and finding out “who they are and where they are at – to become familiar with people and build relationships.”
“Our goal is to recognize the spiritual needs of the young adult community and then determine how the Church can respond boldly to those needs,” she said.
While preregistration is not required, anyone interested in attending a listening session can email Riggins at mriggins@allentowndiocese.org.
