The Holy Eucharist should be reverenced in a way worthy of what it is: the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, truly present in all His glory under the species of bread and wine.
According to Dan Burke, the founder and President of the Avila Institute for Spiritual Formation, the past 18 months of confusion, closings, and changes in reception of Holy Communion have led to a need to strengthen our own faith in the Blessed Sacrament and recommit to a holy stance regarding its worship and reception.
Burke and Father Robert Altier, priest of the Diocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis, third order Carmelite, and teacher of the well-known EWTN series “Fundamentals of Catholicism,” got together for a free webinar, “Holy Eucharist and Reverence” on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
